Nuremberg, Germany – Mitigant made a strong impression at ITSA 2025, Europe's leading cybersecurity expo, held October 8 -10 in Nuremberg. The event provided a dynamic platform for our leadership team to engage with industry innovators and reinforce our commitment to advancing proactive cloud security through attack emulation and AI security solutions.

Selected for Exclusive Meeting with BSI President

A highlight of the expo was a prestigious one-on-one meeting between our leadership and Claudia Plattner, President of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), Germany's national cybersecurity authority. Mitigant was selected as one of only three startups from the Digital Hub Bonn for this exclusive opportunity to engage directly with the BSI President.

The discussion focused on the critical role cybersecurity startups play in Germany's security landscape and economic strength, and how the BSI can enhance its support for these innovative companies. As cybersecurity startups continue to drive innovation and address emerging threats particularly in cloud environments and AI systems this dialogue explored collaborative frameworks that could amplify their impact on national security and economic resilience. The selection reflects the growing recognition of Mitigant's innovative approach to Cloud Attack Emulation and AI Security.

Engaging with the Cybersecurity Ecosystem

Over two days, Mitigant CEO Nils Karn and CTO Kennedy Torkura connected with cybersecurity leaders, partners, and innovators from across the industry. The conversations consistently highlighted the urgent need for proactive security approaches, especially as organizations accelerate their cloud adoption and AI integration. Key engagements included:

• Shared vision: Discussing how organizations are shifting from reactive defense to proactive resilience strategies, with particular emphasis on validating security controls through real-world attack scenarios.
